Autumn in Regent’s Park – My...

I know I wrote about Regent’s Park all those years ago when we were still in the midst of a global pandemic and a lockdown… yes that long ago. But regardless it’s still one of my favourite places to go for a lovely autumn stroll.

If you want to see the most beautiful autumn foliage in London, Regent’s Park at the end of October really is the place to be!

And last Sunday was one of the most beautiful days. Sunny, bright and surprisingly warm for the end of October!

So I ventured out for a little walk around the park.

For these iconic sceneries, the Broad Walk is the place to go.

Start on the Outer Circle, near Great Portland Street station and this way you can walk all the way towards the London Zoo.

That is if you don’t get distracted by lovely spots like the English Gardens

which you may remember from my previous post with the iconic fountains.

For the most beautiful views you might want to go during the golden hours: an hour before sunset or an hour after sunrise. In my opinion the best time is an hour after sunrise, because you have the entire park to yourself. Especially on a Sunday.

Sure you’ll have to set your alarm, but it’ll be so worth it!

And after having seen the park in all its autumn glory, a big breakfast is in order of course! But more about that soon!

What’s your favourite place to take in the season? Let me know in the comments!
