Upgrade your lunch this summer
This city isn’t short of good lunch options but there is one area where London is lacking, and that’s in salad bars. Thankfully atis is on a mission to change that. The first site landed in Old Street in 2019 and now there are 11 locations spread across town, including in Notting Hill, Canary Wharf, the City and Borough Yards.
The set-up is simple; there’s the option to build-your-own bowl from the selection of bases, toppings, proteins, garnishes and dressings, or you can choose a bowl from their menu (we love the Azteca, with chopped romaine, spinach, sweetcorn, black beans, pickled red onions, crumbled feta, smashed avocado, tortilla chips and coriander lime dressing).
Limited-edition seasonal bowls and plates hit the menu regularly too, ensuring there’s always something new for you to try. The current one is a collaboration with Thomasina Miers, with her Wahaca Mexicana plate featuring smoky Mojo chicken, chipotle lime dressing, chopped salad, pink slaw, spring onion, coriander and Blanco Niño chipotle tortillas.
